RVCC Music Faculty Members to Perform in Concert

Raritan Valley Community College’s (RVCC) Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Department will present a Music Faculty Recital, Friday, February 27, at 8 p.m., in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg Campus. The program will be coordinated by Tony Strong, Associate Professor and Music Coordinator for the VAPA Department.

Participating music faculty will include Larry Barbee, guitar (Lebanon); Michael Eckhart, guitar (Hillsborough); Steve Hudson, piano (New York City); John Loehrke, bass (New York City); John Sichel, piano (Mountainside); and Tony Strong, piano (Long Valley). Special Guest Artists include Michelle Brazier, violin (Bound Brook) and Tomoko Harada, piano (Warren).

The program will include solo, accompanied and ensemble pieces, spanning a wonderful variety of musical styles and traditions. Original compositions and arrangements also will be featured.
