RVCC Honor Society to Host Comedy Fundraiser

Raritan Valley Community College’s chapter of its Phi Theta Kappa honor society will present a stand-up comedy fundraiser on Monday, April 13, from 7:30-9:15 p.m. The event will be held in the Theatre at the College’s Branchburg Campus.

The show will feature local stand-up comedians who regularly perform in the New York area. Scheduled performers include Robin Fox, Randi Lupo, David Primiano, Al Smith, Kym Howell, Rocco Romeo, Ritu Chandra and Mike Bonner.

All proceeds will be donated to More Than Me, which was founded in 2009 by RVCC alumna Katie Meyler to create educational opportunities for girls living in Liberia.

The comedy show may include adult language, so no one under the age of 17 should attend without a parent or guardian.

Tickets, at $7 each, are available at the door or may be purchased online at http://ptkcomedy8.eventbrite.com. For additional information about the event, contact Steve Schwarz, sschwarz@raritanval.edu.
