Student Artwork to be Exhibited at RVCC

Raritan Valley Community College’s (RVCC) Visual and Performing Arts Department is presenting the annual RVCC Student Art Exhibition in two installments again this year. The second exhibition runs from April 17-May 1, in the Art Gallery at the College’s Branchburg Campus.

An opening reception for Part II will be held Friday, April 17, from 6-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

The wide variety of work included in the exhibition was created by RVCC students and selected by faculty members from the Visual & Performing Arts Department. Part II will feature an array of media from the following disciplines: 3D design, digital art-making, graphic design, painting, photography, portfolio development, sculpture, sound and video. The show is being coordinated by Darren McManus, RVCC Art Gallery coordinator and full-time instructor.

Gallery hours for the exhibition are Mondays, 3-8 p.m.; Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; Wednesdays, 3-8 p.m.; Thursdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Fridays, 1-4 p.m. The gallery will not open until 6 p.m. on Friday, April 17.
