USAF Heritage of America Concert Band to Perform at RVCC

The United States Air Force (USAF) Heritage of America Concert Band will perform Sunday, May 3, at 6 p.m., at The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg. The concert is the final selection in this season’s Major Artists Series.

The Concert Band features the diverse talents of 38 professional musicians whose commitment to excellence has earned worldwide acclaim and military distinction. Featuring a full rhythm section in addition to a wind ensemble, the Concert Band entertains audiences with a variety of musical selections from Broadway to symphonic classical favorites, from jazz to patriotic marches.

Activated in 1941, The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band has a rich history of inspiring public patriotism and enhancing esprit de corps among all the US military service branches. Stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Virginia, the musicians travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, presenting over 300 events annually for the public and in support of Air Force morale and protocol events.

The concert is free of change, but tickets are required and the performance features reserved seating. Four tickets are permitted per household.
