Melissa Marotta has been tabbed as the new Head Softball Coach at Raritan Valley Community College.
Marotta is a former 4-year letter winner as a Pitcher at Division 1 and Big East power St. John's University. After her career concluded Marotta jumped right into the coaching industry and was named the Head Softball Coach at Petrides High School in Staten Island, NY.
After a successful 4-year stint Marotta transitioned into collegiate softball and was the Pitching Coach and Assistant Coach at New Jersey City University. After two years at NJCU Marotta moved onto Desales University where she was Assistant Coach and Pitching Coach.
Marotta not only brings a wealth of high school and college experience she has also partnered up with former Olympic Athletes Monica Abott and Leah Amico-O'Brian in running successful softball clinics throughout the nation. Marotta will be spending this season recruiting and will look to play a full schedule for next season.
