RVCC to Hold Health Programs Information Session

Prospective students interested in a career in healthcare are invited to attend Raritan Valley Community College’s (RVCC) Health Programs Information Session, Wednesday, June 10, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. The program, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the Conference Center (Room A) at RVCC’s Branchburg Campus.

The event will offer information about a variety of healthcare programs offered at RVCC, including the RN Nursing program, Certified Nurse Aide, Exercise Science, Yoga Instructor, Health Information Technology, Medical Assisting, Ophthalmic Science (Opticianry), Personal Training and Sports Management. Information also will be available about RVCC’s joint programs with Rutgers School of Health Related Professions, including Dental Assisting, Respiratory Care Therapy Assistant, and Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Treatment. Attendees also can learn about Kean University’s on-site RN-BSN completion program and other educational tracks, as well as Rutgers University’s Dental Hygiene program. RVCC also offers non-credit programs in EKG, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy Technician, Dental Radiology and much more.

Participants will learn about pathways to exciting and rewarding careers in healthcare. The event also will offer students the opportunity to meet faculty members and review coursework and program curriculum.
