Halloween Bash, Benefit Set to Haunt RVCC

The Student Life Activities and Planning (SLAP) Board and the Orgullo Latino Club (OLC) will host their fifth annual Halloween Bash and Benefit on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 7 p.m. to midnight in Raritan Valley Community College’s Cafeteria. This year’s theme is “Haunted House: Ghostly Glow Edition.”

The event will feature a Halloween themed dance and a costume contest. Prizes will be given to first, second and third place contest winners.

The event will also include mocktails provided by the BACCHUS Club, music provided by the Radio/DJ Club, snacks and ghostly Halloween games.

Proceeds will benefit SLAP Board’s Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Campaign and OLC’s CRECER high school outreach program.

"Students should come out so they can party for a cause," said Alaysha M. Walker, Assistant Director of Student Life. "You'll have a good time and the price of your ticket helps others."

RVCC student tickets cost $8 for one and $15 for two. Non-student tickets cost $10 each. Tickets can be bought in the Student Life Office, which is located on the first floor of the Bateman Center, or from SLAP Board or OLC members.

For more information, the Student Life Office can be contacted at studentlife@raritanval.edu.
