SHIMON AND SARA BIRNBAUM JCC TO HOST DINNER AND TOURNAMENT

 

The Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center, in conjunction with The Jewish Federation of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties, will be hosting their second annual Wing Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 27. The event will be held from 7-9 p.m. at the JCC, 775 Talamini Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.

The dinner will be $15 per person. The cost includes a wing buffet, salad and soft drinks. Guests will be invited to participate in a Wing Bowl contest and Madden Football tournament. The Wing Bowl contest is $40 for teams of 2. The Madden tournament is $20 per person, single elimination, 3-minute quarters. The contest and the tournament are open to people ages 15 and up. Visa gift cards will be awarded as prizes.

The Record provides a medium for information on all things related to the college community as well as an outlet for students to practice writing skills. The mission of The Record is to encourage student involvement in campus activities and publicize matters of concern to the college community.
Founded in 1988, The Record was distributed as a print-publication until switching to an exclusively online format in 2006. Due to a lack of funds, The Record has been on hiatus from 2011-2013. The Record continues to report online today, evolving to meet the continually changing demands of the news industry.
